We are at the beginning of this journey, and Arbor Terrace has been a wonderful start. Because I live many miles and states away, I had to rely on internet research, phone conversations, a virtual tour, and emails to gather information in order to make this important decision. My loved one was previously a resident at Arbor Terrace Glenview and everything was very good. We were very pleased with the facility: the sitting rooms, common areas and open spaces for family get togethers. The facility is very clean. I would recommend Arbor Terrace Glenview to other family members.

My main issues relate to money. They assessed my mother at a low level of care but then raised that within a month - even though her condition did not change. At the beginning of the calendar year, the rate for each care level increased. Then at her one year anniversary, the rent portion went way up. With all of that, we were then paying a lot more than what we expected when we signed on. I complained and they reduced all of it somewhat. Anyway, maybe this happens everywhere. But it is an issue. Most of the time it's a good experience. There are occasions, not many, that you need to point out to staff. But their response is usually positive and corrections are made. With my limited experience with these types of environments, I would say overall it's a decent value. Another place was a little cheaper but for a little more $ you get a better/updated space. You also can transition to memory care in the same building if necessary. It takes time to adjust to senior living. Eventually your parent will adapt.

Mom really likes the facility and the amenities. Only problem is we have to keep up with the staff on the shower schedule. We pay for their assistance and they have missed her days. The family overall likes it, there are only a few kinks but we would recommend the Arbor Terrace Glenview to other families based on our experience so far.

We've been very happy with Arbor Terrace Glenview. The people are good and attentive. It's on the smaller side, so I feel like everybody knows each other. The nursing care has been very good. The ladies who come and clean her room just do superficial cleanings, but overall the facility is very clean.

I reviewed Arbor a year ago and continue to only have wonderful things to say. Had 2 parents move in May 2021. Dad passed 2 months later. They took excellent care of him and continue to take excellent care of our mom in memory care- she has had several health scares and they handle everything so beautifully. We are confident she is getting the best care, and everyone is so kind, patient, helpful and have kept staff the same - hard to do during Covid. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.
