I was recommended to Dr. Ostad by my dermatologist for Mohs Surgery for a basal cell on my face. My stellar experience started with the kind and professional front desk staff. I was then escorted back to an exam room by an even kinder and more professional nurse. Dr. arrived (on time I might add!!!!!) and I was totally impressed!!!! My basal cell was pretty deep and he ended up having to slice my cheek open which did not make me happy. 6 months later, there is NO evidence of surgery. Genius!
absolutely do not recommend Dr Ostad unless you are looking to be taken advantage of financially. I have a young 53 yr old face and wanted to improve lines around my jowls and the area between my eyes on my forehead. He recommended and performed at that initial visit at least 8 syringes of filler at an ungodly cost of $8,000 assuring me that this will give the results I am looking for. Dr Ostad injected fillers under my eyes to reduce the hollows under my lower lids. The fillers did a good job in filling the hollows, but when I noticed unsightly moon-sliver bags under my eyes. Dr Ostad identified them as naturally occurring festoons and recommended a laser treatment.Luckily, I got a second opinion and was astonished to learn that the bags were a direct result of the fillers. I was highly recommended to Dr. Ostad by my dermatologist and went there in February. The office was impressive with personalized treatments on display. He told me 'satisfaction guaranteed' and that much could be accomplished (jowl lift and eye bag removal) without surgery. I agreed to undergo approximately 10 injections of hyaluronic acid plus OnabotulinumtoxinA. I was assured by the doctor and assisting nurse that results were positive. Dr. Ostad's examinations are always thorough and never rushed. He is an excellent diagnostician and explains clearly any dermatological problem you may have.
Dr Ostad dismissed a growth on my face TWICE. My new dermatologist looked at it once and knew it was basal cell. Unfortunately the mohs surgery I underwent to remove it was much more extensive as it had grown so much in the year.
The only down side is the wait. Often I am kept waiting 20-30 minutes in the exam room...
Came in for filler injections and was left lopsided. I had to pay thousands of dollars to correct it. This after paying almost $5000 to fill my cheeks. Now I’m lopsided and still have Lines all over my lower face. Terrible injector.
This doctor, or his office, appears to have severe scheduling issues. Waited for 35 minutes and they still hadn't seen people who were there before me. I value my time too much to pay $1000 so I can be disrespected.
