Verified Renter Poor maintenance of grounds during the winter season. Dangerous conditions.
DANGEROUS ICY WALKWAYS We have been living at the Highlands Ranch location for almost 2 yrs now. Last winter the walkways were seldom cleaned after snow fall. Maintenance used an ATV with a snow blade. This mostly destroyed all the sprinkler heads and left a lot of walkways covered in snow. This past Tuesday we had over 2 feet of snow. This job requires a snowblower. Maintenance broke 3 shovels and after clearing the office walkways and one in front of the playground, the rest of the property was not touched. TERRIBLE SHADY PEOPLE AWFUL PLACE. UNFRIENDLY MANAGEMENT CHARGE FEES WITHOUT NOTICE. THEY WON'T CALL YOU IF THEY ARE CHARGING YOU FEES BUT THEY WILL DEFINITELY GET IN TOUCH WITH COLLECTIONS BEFORE THEY CALL YOU!
I would not... (Verified Renter) I would not recommend this community due to its no smoking policy. I do not smoke however I did have friends and visitors that do. It was very hard to enforce this rule to grown adults.
Do not rent here! If there was a zero star option, this is where I would use it. These people are thieves. Ryan told me to fill out the application online and pay the $50 nonrefundable fee and the $250 REFUNDABLE fee to hold the apt that I looked at. I made it clear that I wanted to wait on my current apt to give me a renewal notice. He said it would be no problem. Fast-forward, 2 weeks, I had a death in the family and unexpected expenses pop up. I feel it... (Verified Renter) I feel it is comfortable and reasonable to live here. I fear resigning my lease and having to move to a different yet identical unit simply due to cost. An unnecessary burden on your residents. It is this fact that would prompt me to NOT recommend this community.
Bad experience Stay out of this place! They charge you outrageous fees for what you get! People living there are gross they don't pick up after their dogs and have them unleashed and management just sits at it. I saw a dog attacked by another one on the premises one time. Good luck with snow removal as well. They don't clean it in the morning so good luck going to work. Trash bins are full and they charge you a fee for that.
