This was our second time to Arthur's and we were just as impressed as our first time. The food was amazing, the service was spot on and the ambience was great. We went early to be able to sit at the bar for a cocktail before dinner. The bar is truly fabulous! Fun just hanging out there! Highly recommend!
There was an old mildew smell in the building, but we're glad we had a private booth so it wasn't as pungent. The service was SLOWWWWW. Our Oysters Rockefeller appetizer was undercooked and made it to the table before our drinks and table linen. It was cold and had to be sent back twice before it was at edible temp. Our server was sweet but we won't be back. This is an outdated restaurant that seems to only cater to the 50+ crowd. From the waitstaff's service to the food, everything was excellent. Food was superb and portions are great. No complaints what so ever when we come here. We love Arthur's!
Dinner was on New Year's Eve and there was a fixed menu with options for appetizers, main and desert. I had the Brie soup which was excellent and the file which was cooked to perfectly to my liking. Several of my friends had the fish choice which they said was excellent.
Arthur's always delivers on New Year's Eve (or any other time). But NYE is especially challenging. Food was delicious.
