Our favorite place to dine. The food is always good and the service is great. It's quiet. No need to yell to be hears. I highly recommend.
It is a pleasure to eat in a space that has character and interest. Too many restaurants are just a big box with loads of tables but not Arthur's! From the Fish tanks that line a wall to the private dinning spaces, and the large festive bar, there is something to look at and be taken with. It has an old style charm that is missing in most other places, in my experience. Love love the Champagne soup! You must try it!
The service was excellent and friendly staff. Always went 1 step ahead of us. The seafood were excellent along with the side dishes. I loved my scallops with celery root. And the apple cobbler was huge and caused me to want to come back soon.
The food was WONDERFUL and the service was fantastic.

Everything from start to finish was perfect. From the bartenders excellent martini to a beautiful corner booth in the main dining room, excellent service by Richard - favorite waiter -and beautifully prepared veal, beef, and fish dishes. Leisurely paced and well thought out spacing between the courses. Excellent place to hold conversations. Highly recommended
Great food but cocktails were less than spectacular.
The food was good. The service was good. We even got a seat next to an aquarium, which was nice. My only issue was with the racket the band was making in the cocktail bar nearby. We booked a 7:30PM reservation and a band cranked up in the restuarant's bar around 9:00. If I had known they did live music, I would have booked an earlier reservation. I did not expect to dine at a reasonably expensive steakhouse and listen to a loud lounge act.
