I am an Army Soldier. I made an appt for my child's sport physical. Work, unit informed me of an unscheduled tasking. That's normal life as a Soldier. Not looking for special treatment at all but a little curious, understanding. The appt was for 1520. I completed the work tasking ahead of time but knew I was going to be late for my child's appt. I went there because I got my back hurt at work. I didn't know anything about anything, so the wonderful woman doctor actually told me about everything and advised me to get some paperwork, ect....WAS VERY HELPFUL! I am SO thankful! Would recommend this clinic to any1, because the doctor is actually caring...the other 1 that takes you in the room may not be lol, but the doctor is what matters :)

I came in as a walk in urgent. They got me in immediately and the care was excellent. They were very good at explaining what they were going to do and what care I would need. My follow up visit was walk in also and again there was no wait time and the care was excellent. I would strongly recommend.

Staff was awesome even though you could tell they were extremely busy! Got us in quicker than originally scheduled! They were very friendly and welcoming.

Made an appointment last night for my daughter to have sutures removed. She's almost two, so she is young. I had put her DOB in the booking and what the reason for visit was. Figured they'd call if it was an issue (I know they don't do stitches below a certain age, thought removal might be ok). Well, appointment wasn't until 12:45. First let me state that this review is not about this specific location (from my understanding). Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care does not care if you have a secondary insurance that picks up your co-pay. If your primary insurance has a co-pay they require you to pay that on the spot even though you have a secondary that pays it. This is an Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care issue. If you want to be verbally attacked by a provider because they assumed you said something about how slow you were going, stay away. If you want to call with a question about your care, let the front desk know how traumatic it was, and then be thrown on the phone with that provider without warning, stay away. I will never step foot in this urgent care ever again. Rose, please check your biases and don't assume that someone said something and verbally attack them.

Very unorganized. I wanted to get tested for Covid on 12/2. I called and the voice mail says to book online. Their site then says it's no longer allowing to make appointments through Save my Spot. I left several voicemails. They returned my call a week later. I needed to go to their office to get an appointment. I showed them my insurance and was told my insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of TN would not cover my rapid Covid test. I had to pay $50 out of pocket.
