Asher point is a great place. My Dad feels comfortable there and enjoys visiting with the residents. They serve 3 meals a day and he loves that perk. There is always room for improvement.
Nice friendly place with good staff and great residents.
What we like about Asher Point is the comfortable rooms; welcoming residents (neighbors, really); many floorplan options; fun outings; great facilities. We would highly recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far. Asher Point called me and set up a personal tour. We felt important and taken care of from our first contact. They made his transition from his home of the last 25 years tp his new apartment so warm and welcoming!
I would recommend this to anyone for whom value for money is an important factor. There is openness, dignity and a feeling of optimism. I would choose this for myself, if the need arises. The food is a little drab. It feels like typical mass produced school cafeteria food.
I have toured here several times in the past, not always with great results. But this time it was different. The food was amazing and the new Manager was an absolute pleasure. I am moving in on the 1st. The staff that I have met are great, this is definitely a diverse group of people. They had all kinds of activities in the week leading up to my decision, a big mardi gras party, and a super sweet valentines dance! Ohh and they had a super bowl party on Sunday. The meals are good according to our loved one, but we don't really know since most meals were taken to the room because of the pandemic. Also the pandemic caused some of the activities to be limited. Our loved one would have liked to fix more of her meal at a lesser overall cost. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Holiday Tallgrass Estates to other families if they can afford it.
The staff are warm and welcoming and care about their residents. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. The community is clean and tidy. The residents seem to enjoy this community as their home.
During COVID, the previous Manager went above and beyond to keep residents safe. At this time, due to the lack of employees, meals have been below par and lack of staff has been hard on the residents. However, with that said, management has stepped up and are doing the best to fill in where needed.
I am safe, from COVID, employees adhere to gloves and masks. We have a new chef, better meals, our activity director is exceptional-decorations for all special days, activities that all can participate in and "happy" food and refreshments.
