The staff is just amazing . They truly care about the residents. They are remodeling as new apartments come open. Small kitchenette ...mom has a 1 bedroom with a balcony.
The staff is very friendly, they watched out for my brother and called for EMS, which is not part of their job description, but they ernt above and beyond. The food is good and they try to serve a varied menu. The amenities are okay, but my brother doesn't use them very much. Mostly because he doesn't want to, not because they aren't available. The facility is beautifully kept. My mother loves her apartment. Our only issue has been with the dining room staff. If you are late you must wait until everyone in that course is served before they will wait on you.
Everyone who works here is very nice, friendly, and helpful. The bus is hard to get on because the first step is so high and the hydraulic lift is broken. But, the cost of living here is much better than most places. It has recently been renovated and looks very nice. I also like that it is only two stories high and does not look like a regular facility for senior living. What we like the most about Asher Point is that it is clean, nice friendly atmosphere, opportunities for socializing with activities and dining experience , helpful staff, and transportation if needed.
My little dog barks when I go to dinner. Trying to figure out a solution for that. But people are very nice, food is good and I like my little yard for the dog. People are so nice, I love my physical therapist and my helper [name removed].
From the moment we walked in it felt like home. It isn't a fancy place, but it is a very nice place. The staff is wonderful. My brother, who lives there, enjoys the food and is making new friends. He has joined two of the activity groups and feels very good about his move there. Since the name change, the food has improved greatly. My father hasn’t complained as much about the options and overall taste. They are a little slow to take care of maintenance items I’ve brought to their attention. My dad has been there for 3 months and we’ve complained his toilet doesn’t flush simple toilet tissue. I’ve also asked for broken irrigation boxes to be replaced. They’re right in front of his backdoor entrance. My dad’s place was pretty dirty when we got the keys. Just like most places, the food varies--sometimes it is excellent and sometimes it is not so excellent. The best thing about this place is the price--lower than most places for the senior amenities that they offer--3 free meals--utilities included in rent (including cable tv)--room cleaned once a week--exercise room-- various activities--ride to morning appointments--and, inexpensive rides from Round Rock Rides and Z-Trip taxi are easily available.
