Gary the rep from Ashpaugh was out here from 8-11:30, was quoted an estimate of $400.00. Thought this was a little low considering electrical work is expensive. Replaced the meter and made it more accessible for power company. Worked with them in the past and they are meticulous and did beautiful work. I wish every other service provider was like them. They went above and beyond what could be expected.

I have no problem with the work. It was very professional, and the equipment it now working properly. My only issue is with the price. It was done with "book pricing" meaning it wasn't an hourly rate. It was $82 to swap the flush mount closet light, $62 to replace a standard light switch, and $77 to replace a GFI switch. There was also a $70 "assessment fee" which is a trip charge. I would have rather paid by the hour as the total of $271 after the $20 Angie's list discountfor an 1 hour and six minute visit was pretty steep.

At Ashpaugh Electric our pricing system is a unit repair price. This is pricing that is given to our clients prior to the electrical work being performed. Unit repair pricing is the most fair pricing method used in that it doesn't penalize the homeowner based upon how fast or slow the Master Electrician is in performing their work. it was great. The electrician, Dudley, was prompt, professional, and did a great job. Explained necessary work to be done and priced everything out before performing work. Will definitely use Aspaugh for any future needs. Absolutely live up to all their prior reviews.

Great experience. Mark was exceptionally professional, and very patient to answer all of my questions and let me know what he was doing each step of the day. We have a few cats who wanted to offer their services in helping him (getting in his way), and he was very kind about that, too. I will definitely call Ashpaugh in the future if any electrical needs arise.

The service technician was very polite professional and focused on the issues. The final determination was a switch was intermittently failing. The switch was replaced and the circuit is working.
