Ashton Gardens was one of the first, if not the very first, venue I looked into as soon as I got engaged. The moment I saw their photos, I fell in love. It was absolutely everything I wanted for my wedding-from the floor to ceiling windows, to the wooden beamed ceilings, with the beautiful greenery outside-it was just perfect. My venue shopping started off incredibly rough. The Atlanta area offers a lot of old "rustic" places that are WAY over priced. I was looking for something more traditional and gave that "princess" feel. I was in love with Ashton Gardens from the moment I saw the website, however I figured this would be way over our budget. When I first saw Ashton Gardens, I knew that I wanted to marry my best friend in the Beautiful Chapel. I could just imagine those big doors opening and every time I watched the promo video I cried!! :) ...but I was so afraid it would not work with my budget. If anyone can speak highly of Ashton Gardens Atlanta, it's me!!! I was the "FIRST" bride to book my wedding with them! :) Yay me!! lol! I found them online almost a year ago! My time flies. We haven't had our wedding yet... but from the moment I contacted Ashton Gardens - Dawn, the saleswoman was very attentive. I was one of those CrAzY brides that wanted to plan my venue before I even got the ring- and Dawn treated me no different than if I had been engaged for years! There were several issues, but the one that took the cake is that they threw away the cake! We had brought in 100 boxes to take any leftover cake. At first they lied and told us a 5 tiered wedding cake and a large groom's cake were all eaten... then we found out they started throwing it out before the reception was over. Beautiful venue but the level of service was not worth the money. ( Make sure you read the bottom cake) I got married on January 1st. The wedding planner was pulled from us because the reception wasn’t set the night before. I was not aware of some of the issues until after. Mackensie was sweet but the Serving Staff became VERY RUDE when problems were addressed. I wanted a first touch. It happened 5 minutes before walking down the aisle.
