This was my dream venue to get married at, but I just found out that the max amount of hours to have a wedding here is 5hrs. Don’t think I want to pay 6-8k for only 5hrs , when there’s tons of venues I can get for that price for 12-15hrs. Not worth it to me.

I am rating 2 stars for the beautiful venue and the quality and taste of the food. However, I would be cautious when considering this venue for your wedding. I have learned a lot from this experience and had I known when we booked this venue what I know now I would have never picked Ashton Gardens to host the happiest day of my life. This venue is 5 star beautiful, but we had the most disappointing service I have ever had the misfortune to experience at a wedding, and it was my daughter’s! She and her husband are so disappointed. Each day we hear new stories from our guests about things that went wrong. the 1 star given is simply because this venue is rather attractive. However, that is where the positivity ends. You have to use their caterer and the food is not on par with price at all. The communication from the wedding planner we were assigned to was poor, it took over 3 weeks to get back to us regarding our wine selection which was about 2 weeks before the wedding date. I was invited to a wedding at Ashton Gardens and I was excited since I have seen many pictures of Ashton Gardens and the pictures look beautiful. I was so disappointed. I will say that the chapel is pretty (small but pretty with all the windows) and the reception room was ok but nothing like the pictures. Realizing that Ashton Gardens is an "all inclusive venue", the flowers were scarce (NONE in the chapel and NONE in the reception) and the CAKES NEVER GOT DELIVERED!!!! This place is just gorgeous. We fell in love with the look and how they made it seem like a well oiled machine. The only thing this place does is weddings! But some how thing seemed to go wrong. Samantha was our coordinator and she was very friendly and responsive before the ceremony. I agree with the reviews written. The venue is amazing and the staff is very professional and easy to work with. We had their "moonlight" ceremony and the chapel was just stunning. Our ceremony was perfect and the reception went very well. The food was great and wait staff did a very professional job. OK, now for the "not so good". If you book AG, make sure your entire wedding party arrives completely dressed and ready to go. Only allow time for the bride to put on her dress. The allotment of time is just way to short. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. However, the staff does not know how to read their own calendar and will promise you a date and then take it away. This happened to me not only once, but twice. Unfortunately, this venue was THE place for my wedding but after both of these incidents I will be looking for a new place for my wedding and encouraging all others I know to NOT visit Ashton Gardens.
