I will give them the full 5 stars because of the extremely accommodating care. Firstly i went in on a friday as the last appointment. They actually squeezed me in overnight, which was perfect for my dental emergency. I was terrified and the staff made me feel instantly at ease. The dentist was very thorough and informative when explaining and then extracting my cracked tooth. He was as quick yet gentle as possible. The smart mouth, sarcastic assistant was annoyed by me. I was in pain and she was impatient with me. She talked about how long the service took with me. Just rude. And they had me waiting there for along time just for the front desk lady to come and get me from the back to bill me. I have their dental insurance which is great but their help needs a new job if she's not nicer. I'll be going to another Aspen Dental. Im going to rant for a min. Being that i have never been to aspen befor i was told that the first visit was free. Free exam and xrays. Sound fine. Then to find out that they charged my insurance 240 bucks for something they didnt do. I went there to get a broken tooth removed but i still have it in my mouth. The dentist said he wanted to pull all of my teeth and fit me for dentures. Which was gonna cost 7000 dollars. First off if i wanted dentures i would have told them that. I really liked the fact that I could get in the next day. While it did take me an hour from my appointment time to be seen, I was more concerned with getting something for pain. This was my second time I used Aspen Dental so I knew I would have to come back. What I didn't agree with was the fact that I was told I needed an antibiotic and pain medication only find out I would only get the latter. My jaw was swollen so I felt I needed the antibiotics.
Today was my initial exam with Aspen at the Fairlawn office to set up a plan of care to correct all my dental issues. What a great experience. The staff was truly exceptional. The receptionist, Krista was friendly & welcoming. Their hygienist, Hend was professional & personable and Alex & Danielle were so efficient taking my X-rays. As for Dr. Popa, he’s a true Godsend!
