I woke up with severe pain in the middle of the night on my right side of mouth and could not sleep at all throughout the night. I called Aspen Dental at 475 E Bell road and they were immediately able to get me in that morning. This was my first visit to this office. After filling the paperwork, I was taken in for X-rays to find out the derivative of the pain. I was told by Dr. Mathur that I need to have root canal done on my upper back tooth. I had oral surgery on Sunday at Aspen Dental. I have panic attacks when I am put under. I was very nervous when I went and they allowed my husband go back with me. The doctor and staff was great. They joked around with us and kept my mind busy. After the doctor put the I.V. In I told him how good he was and he kept saying could you say that again winking. I was pleased with my overall care. The initial first visit was pretty bad, since I was in agony, and the dentist (Hazard) who saw me, didn t really want to help with my pain (she prescribed aspirin) and really lacked empathy. After that, the visit didn t start to turn good until I met with Nancy, ( TheOffice Manager). She really was the one who helped me to get the extraction appt. This office has the most friendly staff and is extremely helpful. I used to be afraid to go to the dentist but I just love Dr. Melander and the staff, they made my visit easy and painless.
I was more than pleased to find Aspen Dental in Phoenix as I am from back East and have had excellent service in NY. I will say that the staff and dentist at the Bell rd location deserve 5 stars for their excellent professional serve. I would like to commend Aspen Dental for GREAT customer service. I contacted Aspen first because my mother was having trouble with her dentures she got in Mexico and second to get a consultation for upper implants since I was skeptical about having additional work in Mexico. From the First contact over the phone to the seeing the Dentist himself everyone was very pleasant and most helpful.
