The assistant (I can't recall her name but she was blonde, had blue eyes and about 5ft tall) was very attentive and listened to my concerns while x-raying. Dr. Sunil Charian was also professional and explained my gum infection issue to me clearly. He did not try to up-sale me on procedures I didn't need and gave me tips on how to handle my infection with home care and antibiotics. I am SOOOO happy I found Dr. Pagan!! Even though he is not a participant in my dental plan, his kindness, compassion, and knowledge makes me thrilled to have found someone so skillful!! His assistant BJ is also knowledgeable and personable. I couldn't be more pleased.
If you haven't tried Aspen Dental's Warrenton Rd location in Fredericksburg, VA or you were not satisfied with it prior to 2024, you owe it to yourself to return like I did or schedule your first appointment! Not sure why there are bad reviews but after a long search for dentist because of insurance changes at my work, we landed here. I would say the only thing that I don't like is the initial appointment as they cover everything but the cleaning and you have to come back a second time. But other than that, they're really friendly, the office is spotless and they have the newest technology. I really dislike the dentist in general but felt very comfortable here.

I got clocked in my jaw by my pitbull and it knocked two already loose teeth even looser. Found out I had horrible bone loss also. Everything at this office went so well. My anxiety was through the roof, and everyone was so patient and kind. I needed 4 extractions, and a bone graft, and got an immediate denture placed. I was a nervous wreck. Things have gotten even worse with Aspen since my last review. They still never contacted me to make the 3-6 month later appointment the initial lady I spoke said they would for me. I paid 1/2 of the full price, as asked, at that initial visit. I paid the second half as soon as I received the statement. Now they are asking for another $54. I was initially quite excited about going here. I had very high hopes. They let me down in every way. The ads make you believe that can fix any tooth issue. They wouldn't fix mine. I still went for the cleanings and fillings though. I paid what I was asked to up front. They were terrible about the appointments. Calling to tell me they had to cancel, then sending confirmations for the same day. They hadn't made it clear that sometimes they had me down for 2 procedures in one day. This place is a total scam. Using my insurance they said wouldn't cover practically anything, and wanted $12,000 for two root canals. With all the credit card advertising they are about money and not really helping.

I had a cleaning canceled day before I had an appointment. No problem, I called to get a new appointment, and the next availability is in April... the receptionist was so rude and disrespectful. I will be finding a new dentist. Goodbye Aspen dental.
