my husband lost a crown and we have always gone to the amherst Rt 101 office but due to an emergency they could not fit us in and recommended we try another office. Just walking in the door at the bedford office was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly not chaotic like we are use to experiencing. I too had a scheduling issue. I made what I thought an appointment for a cleaning and they told me I had to have x-rays, gave me a quote of $128.00. I get there they take the x-rays check in my mouth both the hygienist and the dentist. After they told me I need a small filling they said ok your all done. What? I said what about my cleaning, reply oh, this appointment was just for x-rays and a check-up, are you serious??? I went there because I have a toothache. They took xrays of all my teeth, because that didn't coast me anything. The girls out front were great. Then I saw the Dentist, and all she kept telling me that all me teeth had to be pulled and that I needed Dentures. I told her that I have a toothache and I new witch one needed remove it, I also said that I didn't have any insurance and that I'm on Disability. all of my other teeth didn't hurt and that all I wanted was that one tooth to be removed. I've been coming to Aspen in Bedford off and on for several years. My recent experiences have been less then stellar however. The care is reasonable, but they can't seem to get it together in regards to scheduling. I set up multiple appointments, and so far of the three appointments only one has gone without issue. I took a day off work to have root scaling and planing done, as well as four fillings and prep for a crown. I was made to wait almost 30 minutes with novocaine in my mouth while at a deep cleaning, and I was anxious and nervous in the first place. I got a temporary crown 5 days ago, and though I've been as careful as possible, it popped off while away on vacation. Epically frustrating.
I felt rushed by my hygienist and she brutalized my gums with the hook as well.
This office ruined my front four teeth and then refused to give me the funds necessary to fix their mistake . They gave me 1,100 to fix a 6,000 mistake . I wrote to the President of the company numerous times to even get that . I now have a wonderful dentist who knows what he is doing . I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU THINK TWICE before letting this office do ANY work in your mouth !!! They do not care about the patients , I gave them NUMEROUS chances and begged them to do the right thing.
