We happily became a customer of Aspen Dental as our current dentist was booked up until after the new year. My wife called to schedule an appointment to put an implant back on the studded screw. Aspen Dental called to remind my wife of her upcoming appointment. The quality of care my wife received not only from the dentist to the dental hygienist and the office staff was unmatched. The staff was very friendly and professional. The hygienist, Dominique, took great care in handling the cleaning and even helped to explain how my brushing could be improved. Dr. Sharma provided helpful information on the state of my dental health, his calm demeanor was reassuring as well. The manager, Jeff, provided clear and concise explanations for the financial side and follow-up appointments. The office was clean and I really enjoyed seeing them utilize new tech/equipment for treatment.
I had my appointment here two days ago. I found something that left a not so good impression on me. However, I will still probably use their service in spite of due to the cost. Every dental place is high when your going to have to pay out if your pocket because they don't take HMO. This place has the best price that I can possibly afford. However, I thought the "manager" like think her name is spelled "Lateshkia" or something like that. I can only speak to the office experience. It was a long wait, I was able to hear the receptionist rattling off a social security number and other info while talking on the phone. My wife had an appointment two weeks ago. The office said they would call back with more info and results from the x rays. Didn't get a call back. She finally called them after a week. I'm extremely dissatisfied with my experience here at Aspen dental. I had an initial appointment and everything seemed great. Aspen was only able to verify my primary dental insurance with my own employer. My husband provided his social at my initial in person appointment and I was told I would receive a call back to verify my secondary dental insurance. It never happened. No one ever called me back. He's definitely a novice, but It seems he was new to the office and didn't have the solid confidence in doing major work. Nice guy nice people in the office but if you are seeking someone with more years of experience. I Don't think this is the place for you. Maybe in few more years. The office has been open for two years but you can tell the dentist lack confidence. And doesn't seem very comfortable with treating a multicultural clientele. DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL IF YOU HAVE AN HMO!/ DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING! I write this to warn other people who have limited income/ are on a budget /on medicare with an HMO plan to not go to Aspen Dental if you have an HMO, to prevent what happened to me from happening to anyone else. They DO NOT ACCEPT HMO's and deceptively advertise that they 'accept most insurance plans' and 'try to keep costs low' which is patently false.
