I went to another dental office for my cleaning and a check knowing I needed a root canal. Their recommended endodontist was not in my network so I had to search elsewhere. Aspen dental was in my plan so I called and the receptionist told me I had to have a full cleaning to assess since mine was not done there. I told her my insurance already paid for one and she said they would “apply a coupon” so it didn’t hit my insurance. Fine whatever. I definitely don’t recommend aspen dental. My partner went here last week for a regular check up/cleaning and told them we had electric tooth brushes and we didn’t need to purchase one. Then when we were leaving they hand us an electric toothbrush and charged our insurance. It’s all a money racket and we won’t be back.

About my experience: I’ve been gong to the same local dentist for the last 6 years. My teeth and gums have always been healthy because I take care of my teeth by brushing, flossing and keeping regular dental appointments. This time my local dentist was out of network with my insurance when it’s time for my cleaning. My insurance provided me with this practice information. I DO NOT recommend that anyone use Aspen Dental for their dental needs. I have had my teeth cleaned (elsewhere) at least 82 times and Aspen Dental was the WORST of them all. Aspen operates like an assembly line with no person care provided. The Doctor spent maybe 3 minutes with me and never even looked me in the face. I had the make a separate appointment for a “cleaning” which consisted of 12 minutes with hygienist for $184. The cleaning was useless. The entire experience was very disappointing. Total rip off, this establishment is total rip off. I advise everyone that has insurance to please confirm with your insurance company what they are telling you is covered. This establishment does not input appropriate codes to determine what is covered and what is not covered. Do your research people! When I called this morning challenging them on this the lady I spoke with hung up on me when I questioned their quote and informed her what my insurance company said.
The staff is very kind and professional. The extractions were fine and I absolutely loved my Dentist as he made me feel very comfortable!! However, I feel they have dropped the ball when it comes to the cosmetic part of the procedure. Every time I call for an adjustment, I am ALWAYS pushed out a whole week!
