unnecessary work and treatment, specially in areas of cleaning. shame on iu necessary work done that's not a necessity. please speak to your offices so they are not doing more than what people can afford, and what's needed in order to bill higher. remind your offices to not practice unethical ways of practice.

My 1st visit as a new patient, I had XRs and the dentist examine my teeth. I was told "you need to make another appointment for your cleaning cause we don't have time today." The tone and complete disregard for my time was insulting. I spoke up and only then did the manager arrange for someone to do my cleaning. For my 2nd visit, I got fitted for a mouth guard. The staff were courteous and the cleaning was competent, but double-check the information they provide. After speaking with a member of the office staff (whose name is being omitted for the sake of their privacy) and explaining that because my insurance only covers dental cleanings every 6 months, I wanted to make sure this dental cleaning was far enough out from my last one to be covered by my insurance. I went in for a first appointment regarding option for dentures (preferably the snap on solution). After waiting for 1.5 hours, I was forced to do a 3D x-ray again, even though I had all the images from my dentist with me!! Before going in I had already subscribed to the savings plan (more about that later). After a long consult with the office/account manager I walked out with a pretty steep offer. Horrible 1st experience, I had to wait almost 2 hours for my teeth to be cleaned & they did not clean my teeth, they said after I waited 2 hours, they were only going to take xrays & evaluate my teeth. Then they tell me I need a deep cleaning. Crazy! I went to a periodontist for a 2nd opinion & he said no I do not need a deep cleaning. This place only wants to run up a high bill for the insurance company.

Went to this dentist for a pre-employment screening in August and I never knew they existed until then. I lnow my company has contracted with them through Access Medical One for their pre-employment screenings because once completed the lady told me they would not accept it unless I got a "1" on the form. Therefore, I knew they were about greed. This practice has long waiting times, they are always running late, usually an hour or more. We recently scheduled a wisdom teeth extraction and they scheduled us at a different location as the surgeon was not available at Westheimer. We asked about additional evaluations and were told nothing else was needed. The other location (Tombal) also made us wait over two hours, they didn't have the full information they needed and there wasn't much concern for the patient well-being.
