I have to post a bad review for Aspen Dental, a year ago today (upon receiving a fb memory of my visit with them). At first I chose them because they offered free X-rays. And have everything within their building. I went to the location on a Seminole Blvd. Upon the first evaluation they were nice but they gave me a very long and expensive treatment plan and they did not offer any help or to even take things in steps. Went in for a checkup told me I needed $7000 dollars worth of work. When I requested my records after I made an appt for a second opinion told me they have to come from corporate and it can take 10 days. Very rude to me when I explained why I needed them. Then I read all the complaints of aspen dental glad I have a medical background and know my rights.
Their pricing is deceptive and padded without explanation beforehand. Their follow up to my email about the extra charge never happened, probably because they already had my money. Apparently having an oral surgeon introduce herself and talk about the weather and her family vacation constitutes a $92 "consultation" charge.
PLEASE READ THIS IT MIGHT BE IMPORTANT TO WHAT DENTIST YOU USE. I was a patient at Aspen dental i had a chip tooth on my porcelain bridge the Dr sent me to the lab to have a match for my tooth ,all went well until the tooth started to change colors went back to the dentist and he said let’s give it two more weeks i call the lab after that and i told them my cap turned colors the lab said they probably used the wrong bonding material went back to the dentist in 2 weeks he said let’s give it another month and then it was 3 mo... read more
I've had teeth work before and needed a script of antibiotics he gave me a low dose which will not get rid of the infection and the girl who answered the phone was very rude. not very nice here
I haven't been to a dentist in a long time but it was the worst experience that I've ever had over there it's just a dental Factory. Prices were way high I think he gave me them just to get me out of there went in there for new Dentures had three people asked me what I'm in there for and then when they took x-rays they left my dentures in to take the deck x-rays and then the next person comes along we have to redo it because you can't have your dentures in there if they would knew what they would do and break from the beginn... read more
This had to be the worst experience I’ve ever had At not only at a dentist office but at Aspen Dental They quoted me one price at $119. for a cleaning showed up the following week and they added another $40 to my account. Telling me the code was wrong Well needless to say they added fluoride treatment for $40 without even asking me if that’s what I wanted ..which I didn’t The cleaning had to be the worst and the fastest I’ve ever had done . The dentist was great! But when I called and gave them all my insurance info and asked before I came in given nag them my group numbers and all they said YES! I had a broken tooth and was in bad ass pain I get here they take all the X-rays that was or should have cost 40 at the most, cost me 275 because now he says I didn’t have coverage for them! Very disappointed!! I’ll being going else where from now on!!
Got completely ripped off by their pinellas park location. They added a bunch of shit to my bill that i was told a at the time was supposed to be part of the first free visit. Scam artists. Take advantage of the fact i was in pain and in a hurry to sneak a bunch of stuff in, even charged one of my extractions as "impacted" when it was not. . When i called to question the charges later the office manager essentiall told me i signed the bill so i could go fuck myself now
