I was going to a great dentist in Mesa, but I live on the west side and now with working from home I wanted to go to a dentist closer to home. My fiancé came here and had a good experience so I thought I'd give it a try too. I have TMJ, 3 crowns, 1 root canal, countless cavities and I grind my teeth at night... my mouth is kind of a hot mess. I had a great experience here. I've been going to Aspen Dental in Laveen for three years, and not once have I had a good experience. They constantly said I had a balance that was already paid, canceled and rescheduled appointments without notice, and showed zero concern for the inconvenience. The practice is fine, except they keep trying to charge for fluoride that my insurance doesn't cover so I finally had to be a jerk and say I never want fluoride, how do I get fluoride completely off my account. Every time I have an appointment I get an email confirmation, a text confirmation, and a phone call confirmation. Wow oh wow! I went here before and during Covid and really enjoyed my experience. The front desk was so welcoming and the dentist was just the best. After falling off my pattern of going I finally added them back to my routine. I was shocked at how it went down hill. From the check in being very cold and not welcoming to the arrogant, self entitled doctor who clearly puts himself before patients. We took my son there for a cleaning and a filling in January. They required payment up front before they would even let us schedule the appointment. They overbilled me by $95 and 9 months later I am still arguing trying to get this money back. I paid for it on my flexible spending card and at this point it's just theft and fraud. The actual office visit on 8/11/22 was great but when I called back to follow up on 8/17/22, the assistant manager was extremely rude. I was told on the day of my appointment I would be contacted about my treatment plan and payments because they had another consultation to take care of at the time. That contact never happened.
