When I called to make an appointment she said I’d have to make 2 separate appointments, one for the exam and then come in again for a cleaning. I have been to several dentists and have never heard that. I explained with work and child care that I really needed it on the same day. She completely ignored me, started asking me irrelevant questions and pushing me into an appointment slot. I told her to slow down, I wasn’t ready to make the appointment and she said thanks for calling and hung up on me!
Went to Aspen for the first time yesterday. It all started out ok. They did xrays and they checked the pockets between my teeth. Then it all fell apart. They tried to tell me that I have gum disease. Now, I had just been to my regular dentist 6 mo. prior and I know that if I still had gum disease they would have told me. I asked them, wouldn't my teeth have fallen out by now? I continue to call to confirm a time and NOBODY calls back. I never get a person to speak with. I am paying cash Monday and am driving 90 miles to get there, and you would figure someone would like to return a call. Unreal!
They could start with 1) knowing what to do with a patient on blood thinners and 2) care about a patient in horrible pain. No pain meds are prescribed and take Ibuprofen and tylenol. Patients on blood thinners cannot take ibuprofen so only tylenol which couldn't possibly work with a total teeth extraction. I would not advise anyone to go there. Just not aware of patient's needs.
Shame on them. I will never go back. They are very unprofessional.
I was pleased with the dental assistant, dentist and manager. But the person who I made my appointment with flat out LIED to me. I was told there would be someone there who would repair a denture crack but no one was. The manager was extremely helpful though. I have to go back on Monday. I was very upset and the mgr and dentist were very accommodating. So no teeth for a couple days. Lied to...
The dentist I saw today was the worst dentist ever. He was rude and had a very bad attitude. Talked to me like I was stupid. I came in to see what my options were and he basically said I wouldn't like any of the options so I left.
I’m going to be very honest, the dentist, David is rude, condescending and is completely unprofessional. I’ve been trying to work with him for months on complex allergy issues requiring removal of permanent bridges in my mouth. He strung me along for months, unable to decide if he would do the work. THEY contacted me to set up extraction appts. I went in for impressions, was told I had to pay up front for work not yet done, seemed fishy. I was there way before appt time. No one at the desk. I waited a few minutes then sat down. The girl finally saw me but continued whatever she was doing. Finally she sat down then gave me papers to fill out. Done & put on counter. Sat around again for about 10 + mins. Need a front desk person that has a friendly way about her.
