I love the team at Aspen Dental, Royal Oak! I love the fantastic job that they are doing on my teeth to restore my smile and quite frankly, they're also helping me restore my self-esteem by doing so much to make me feel valued and cared for. With all of the sadness and chaos that the world has experienced over the last few years, some of us have been depressed, socially distanced and isolated. I have been a patient for about a year at this Aspen Dental location. I'm a high maintenance case when it comes to dental care, and have struggled to find an office that I feel comfortable at. Other dental offices ran their offices like businesses instead of medical facilities. I felt like I was being upsold on options, instead of what my teeth really needed. This is the best dentist I've ever been to!! The staff is so friendly, especially the office manager Lynn! My hygienist Hannah was amazing and so was Dr. Semaan!! This was definitely the most thorough and informative dentist visit I've ever experienced. I'm recommending Aspen to everyone I know!

I'm beyond irritated with this place. Should've been smarter to choose an office where there hours don't suck. I have major tooth sensitivity 2 months into having my fillings (That's not normal). It's Friday and I'm trying to schedule an appointment to get it looked at but there is no possible way to do that. Office is closed and website won't let me book an appointment bc I'm an existing patient??!!! Literally only gives me the option to call the office number to schedule. Oh wait, THEY'RE CLOSED!! I wish I could give 0 stars. I orginally received a consultation at the Livonia location. After my consultation at the Liviona location I received a recommendation to treat at the Royal Oak location becasue the dentist at the Royal Oak location was highly recommended. I called this location (Royal Oak) and the receptionist or the person who answered the phone lacked customer service skills and professionalism. The care for Aspen Dental is all about upselling services (fluoride every visit for example). I never met the dentist who owns the location. I had a total of 3 service dates after the initial free service. They only billed the 1st of the 3 service dates to my insurance company and made me pay for the 2nd one. They told me the 3rd one would be covered by insurance and then wanted me to pay for it when I showed up for the 4th service. I had a cleaning & a small filling. Over $1000 out of pocket with insurance. They had me pay upfront before I was treated but they keep sending me a bill for the balance I already paid.
