If I could give no stars, I would. Fist off, I had to put half of the proposed balance on my credit card to hold my appointment because the doctor won't allow an appointment without up front pay. What was I supposed to do when my daughter needed her wisdom teeth pulled immediately and not later. Second, I think if Blue Dental pays at 80% that we have to pay over 3,000 dollars insurance covered or not to have 2 damn wisdom teeth pulled. This, in my opinion is a total rip off. Didn't even get past the make an appointment stage. I called to make an appointment for a 6 month cleaning. I Spoke to someone named Sam, at corporate I guess.? She made the appointment for the Royal Oak office. Afterward, I had several text messages and phone calls prompting me to call them, so I did. What a joke. My "new patient appointment" was for a cleaning and complimentary xray. I was told by the receptionist that a cleaning couldn't be determined until after the hygienist looked at my teeth. What? Asked to have x-rays sent to another provider. Was assured they were. They were not. Called again and said they were sent to corporate to be emailed. I called corporate and gave up after an hour of being on hold having to endure "due to high volume you may experience...." Poor communication. No regard for patient records that resulted in dental complications. Horrible experience.

I didn't have any care I just had an exam. I thought I was going to get a cleaning. I used Aspen dental because they were in my network. It was more like a Sales technique. They wanted to sell me a deep cleaning which I would've done if they first clean my teeth normally. They wanted to sell me braces and they zoom white cleaning all on the first visit. It is the worst experience I've had at a Dennis office ever I was so upset I was crying after.

Horrible experience. After Dr. Semaan recommended invisible braces to me, which by the way are not Invisalign as advertised in their reception area but rather their own private brand, I was in them for four months of a six-month plan and noticed my upper teeth began shifting so far to one side that my two front teeth no longer aligned with my lower teeth or my upper lip. I don't know what happened between last year and this year but maybe new staff was the cause of this. I am a current patient and I scheduled my husband his first appointment in November 2021. It's now January 22, 2022 (only because they barley had any openings last year). My husband goes to his 8 am appointment only to be turned away because they "are currently not excepting new patients". He also received a confirmation call yesterday from the office to get his dental insurance information. WHY WOULD THIS NOT BE COMMUNICATE... read more

The worst! Business model is painfully obvious, sell first, Dentisty second. First visit won't even clean teeth, spend hour plus taking scans so they can sell you stuff. Have to waste another day's appointment for cleaning. Then I decided to reschedule a cleaning out of an abundance of caution because of Covid exposure and they said it would be months out. I can't wait to be off the hmo that forced me to deal with them and back to a real dentists office!

I went there as a new patient for a routine cleaning. I had a cleaning elsewhere 6 months ago but changed dentist due to insurance shift. They refused to do cleaning. They wanted me to have x-rays and let technician "look" at my teeth and determine what kind of cleaning I needed. THEN wanted to schedule cleaning for a later date based on whatever they found. My appointment 02/05/ at 12:41 for issues I was having with a crown, was a pleasant reception. I was ushered into an ex-ray room by a technician who began taking complex x-rays. I was surprised at the number of photos as I was told when I booked my appointment there would (be free X-ray exam with the first visit.) Next, I was placed in an examining room, typical dental chair; and a PLLC joined us. I don't know what that means, and I'm not going to use names.
