After I retired my dental insurance changed from Delta to Cigna. My long term Dentist was not in the Cigna group and when he retired I decided to make a change. Two visits so far. First a sort of “meet and greet” after a very old Crown detached. X rays showed 2 cavities one of which was under the old crown and I decided to take care of the other less complicated one first. Did that yesterday and very pleased so far! Have another appt to fill cavity under the old detached crown and replace it with a new crown.

My visit for my was good but it came time to make a appointment to have some fillings taken care of I was told I had to pay in advance to schedule the appointment how stupid is that. I'll pay once my have been taken care of if you don't trust me to pay I guess I can't trust you as a company to take care of dental needs.
You guys are absolutely awful! I’m pretty sure you’ll just erase this review but at least you’ll see it.

I am a new patient due to insurance co change. I appreciated the fact they open at 7 a.m. so I can still get to work at a decent time after my appointment. My first appointment at 7 a.m. I ended up waiting in the lobby for almost half an hour before I was seen. I had many X-rays, a review with the dentist of my X-rays, then a hygienist measured my gum pockets and sent me to the appointment desk to schedule a cleaning in two months. Horrible emergency appiontment in So. Portland, ME--- the dentist was more interesting in being rude and condescending then helping me. I had a large filling break and fall out. I went in cause I was having a lot of pain, which I made known when I scheduled the appointment. He literally spent 1 min with me then said, well the office manager will go over payment information with you; that was it. He never asked if I had discomfort or pain; no antibiotic or pain meds. Went in for a cleaning. Was given and charged for a filling I didn't need. My retainer got popped off and was told to go see an orthodontist to get it glued back on so my teeth wouldn't crowd. I went to Aspen because of their advertised affordable prices and flexible plans (false) and get told to see an orthodontist.
The only good thing about this place was the front desk clerk that checked me in. She seemed very sweet and free X-rays. Doctor was rude and ripped my mouth around like a doll. Didn't explain anything to me in language that isn't dental terms. They told me they do all wisdom tooth extractions in the office but yet I left with them telling me they can't do it there and gave me two referrals. No wonder Danica is sponsored by them because they both stink!
Corners of the floors were very dirty no place I want to have teeth worked on and I was guaranteed they could do the work over the phone and when I got to the office they informed me they'd give me a referral to another dentist

My dentist is awesome & knowledgeable. As for Aspen Dental on a management level not so much. When AD had their 50/50 plan it was great. I know, only took a few free loading slackers to screw that program up, but to go & get in kahoots with friggin Synchrony Bank was the stupidest decision they could have made!! Charging your whole treatment plan at once (FOR SERVICES NOT EVEN RENDERED) and because of that fact your patients (who AD cares so much about) have their credit rating drop by 30 points!!!
