Very welcoming staff. Corinne office manager is amazing. The gentleman in the front was very nice
From the front office folks to the hygienist to the doctor, they all made it a easy and painless experience. I walked in at 2pm with a bad tooth abscess and was out by 4. The whole staff made me comfortable and at ease. I've avoided dentist offices for 20 years and I am very relieved and out of pain!

I can't say enough good words about the Aspen Dental office in Suffolk at Harborview. I went in with a very intense fear and I was put at ease right away. I have been back for several visits and each time everyone has been friendly( I am greeted with a smile by absolutely everyone)and extremely caring. Dental Assistant Talia will sweetly calm me every time. Doctor Leslie takes her time to listen and explain all procedures.

If you have Tricare, beware. I went there for a checkup and cleaning. I hadn't been to dentist in over a year. They did X-rays and the dentist checked my teeth. After she left, I was told they didn't have anyone to do my cleaning. They said they were in the process of hiring someone. They didn't tell me this information when I made the appointment. A few weeks later, I get a bill for $162.00. They said Tricare didn't cover the total amount of my X-rays. This is the first time I received a bill for X-rays. I will not be going... read more

Received a call today (after I told them to forget it) telling me my insurance will cover half... at $2000ish. Whereas, there website states 299 per top and bottom. Was told insurance rates are different... how is this possible? Seems fraudulent to me.

Laziness is the key to successful business in the US. I go in 2 weeks ago to get new dentures. 1st appointment was OK except billing issues. I was told pre-auth was sent and was told I had an appointment for 7/8... I go in no appt., no pre-auth (insurance sent me pre-auth.) Was told it takes 30-60 days. My experience with Aspen Dental in Suffolk, VA was horrific. I went in on an emergency visit. The Dr was rude and stated that he would only give me 5 minutes- this was in the waiting room, in front of other patients. The x-ray technician was very sweet. I tried my best to be pleasant through the pain. Turns out that I had a crown and the whole top of my tooth were gone. I told him that I was in extreme pain. My mom and I went to Aspen Dental because they offered a free cleaning and exam and also dentures at an affordable price. The first doctor I saw, Dr. Vaughn was TERRIBLE!! He pulled my mother's teeth and left her laying in the chair knowing that she couldn't stand very well on her own and I was in another exam room and she ended up getting up and fell. This office uses an automated phone system and when they decide not to answer the phone this system takes over. I was trying to contact the office when I got stuck on base during an apparent lockdown where no body was allowed to get off bas. I had plenty of time to get there but I was stuck sitting in my truck waiting for the traffic to move.
