After having a major surgery , I had a tooth come out from the sedation. Needless to stay I was in a vulnerable place haven just had surgery and then my front tooth came out. I went to Aspen thinking they would help me replace my tooth and do any other major work needed. After having X-rays, these people told me I needed to have all my front teeth, top and bottom pulled. Went in there for what I thought was to get a cracked tooth fixed and was given a dental exam and at the end was told I would need a deep cleaning and a bunch of other work done, at the end was told it would cost 29,785 to fix everything. Went and got a 2nd opinion and was quoted a total way lower price to get my work done.

If i could give them a zero i would. They sent me a confirmation text of my appointment. I go in on time and they tell me that they cancelled my appointment because i did not respond to the confirmation text !! Then it says walk ins welcome so i said well consider me a walk in then and she said well thats based on the dentist schedule i can see if shell take you. I said ok i hand her both my insurance cards medicaid and medicare she said rught iff we dont take medicaid then said or medicare unless you got all parts of it. I ... read more

Winston Salem, University Pkwy location - On my very 1st visit as a new patient, I was diagnosed with an exorbitant amount of "needed" deep cleaning. I felt high pressure sales with scare tactics the entire time I was onsite. The visit lasted over 1.5 hours and no cleaning was ever done. I was released with a list of charges they wanted to complete suggested cleaning services. I called the office back the very next day to schedule my cleaning and got voicemail. This is the most inefficient dental office that I have been to. When I set the first appointment, I was given pricing and told I'd get both cleaning and exam. Before I checked in I told the staff the pricing. They didn't want to honor the rates quoted and didn't want to give the cleaning at the first visit. It took a long time to get them to honor the rates and do the cleaning. It also took a very long time for the visit, over 2 hours. I do not recommend this office and will not go back.

Don't bother their slogan should be at Aspen Dental we care more about your finances and how you're going to finance your procedure then your actual comfort and care

there are people in this world that look for solutions and then there are those that look for a reason NOT to do anything. The latter is what these guys are. this is a pitiful excuse of a medical provider. if you must use Aspen, dont have high expectations and stay away from university parkway in Winston. These people were going to deny care to my mother in law because she was in a wheelchair and she didn't know if she could stand for an X-ray she didn't need. That is discrimination against someone who has a disability

Does not take medicaid, so because we are low income, my 15 yr old daughter gets turned Way by yet another dentist that is only worried about money.

Terrible communication and lack of accommodations for single parents. I made an appointment received a confirmation email and text as well as a phone call from aspen to gather some information prior to my visit. I was NEVER informed my other child was not allowed to attend with us I drove 35 minutes to be denied service because I had my child with me.
