As a new patient, I thought the reception and office staff were kind and helpful. However, the Dental Office had no place to brush your teeth prior to the appointment. There was noticeable damage to the walls. There were also flies everywhere. I waited over an hour, and I never had my teeth cleaned. I don't think I've ever been to a dentist appointment where I didn't have my teeth cleaned. I had X-Rays, the Dr. Looked at my teeth, and they rescheduled me to come back because I needed a cleaning....Won't be going back.
Not impressed by this place. I'm only giving two stars because I liked the dentist. However the business process was horrible. I felt like I was buying a used car or timeshare. The office manager played tough sales gamws after saying I needed a zirconia crown and it would cost me $2100 and I could not question it because the doctor prescribed it. I went for a medical clearance exam for an upcoming knee surgery. I had a 10:30 appt, was taken back to start exam apx 10:50. After my exam was complete, I was sent back to the waiting to sit and wait for checkout... FOR 2 HOURS!! I was told the office manager called off and they were short staffed. I had to have a tooth pulled for my clearance so I was scheduled the next day for an extraction at 11:00am. My visit last month wasn't great (the bite wing x-rays were EXTREMELY painful, and they took over 30 of them. That's more than twice the usual amount. The nurse didn't even care that tears were streaming down my face) but Dr. Young was nice. But today's visit for my son was even worse! Appt was for 8:00 and we didn't get called back until 8:40, she tried for 5 mins to take an x-ray scan and he was too scared, ok fine, so we went back for the cleaning and checkup.
