Complaint
Attorney Services Network has stated that they need to know every detail about your case BEFORE they can refer you to an attorney.
Date May 28, 2015....4:30pm....I sent in a request from The State Bar of California website to seek an attorney who can assist me with a potential case. I sent an email through Attorney Referral Services website as well giving them a brief description of my case....as they say on their site..."Brief Description"....I had to call them directly because I got no email response, they I spoke to a ******* and then a man and then *****....They all said I had to give them exact dates and times...and specifics of my case even though they dont fall under Client Priveledge Attorney.....What? They said they wouldnt give me their licesnse and they didn't have any lawyers who file Tort Claims against Government Entities (LAPD/FBI)....What the heck is going on? I believe that I am being told a lie...I'm filing a complaint as this is UNETHICAL!
Desired Settlement
I want to know if they were told by any Law Enforcement agency not to help me or if they even got my email as I have had illegal interception on my network. I want the details in writing....if they dont have lawyers who can help me....put it in writing please.
Business Response
First, our organization will not respond, in any regard, to the nature of the complainant's legal issue. However, the nature of her legal issue is very relevant to our inability to provide a referral and speaks to the legitimacy of her complaint.
The complainant filled out an online form and called our referral service on 5/28/2014. She requested legal assistance for an area of law in which we do not have panel members. She insisted on speaking to multiple supervisors, who all double checked and verified we do not have attorneys in our network who take referrals for her legal issue.
The complainant even spoke to our director. While he was attempting to explain that we do not have attorneys whom take referrals for her issue, she terminated the call.
In response to the desired resolution; we were not instructed by any Law Enforcement agency to "not help." We have not received an email from the complainant; we did receive the form she filled out online. As was previous told to the complainant and repeatedly verified; we do not have attorneys in our network who take referrals for her legal issue.
