I haven’t had my surgery yet, but I was very impressed with the thorough examination and testing to determine the root of my vision problems. Looking forward to surgery in a couple weeks.
I am now a month out from my LASIK surgery, so now it's time to share how its going. I HAD astigmatism and was apprehensive about LASIK from my research, but Atwal put my fears to rest. I shoot video so having my eyes razor sharp is something I desperately need and contacts weren't cutting it since they would shift all the time. I had the Kamra Inlay put in to improve my reading vision at a cost of $4500. I feel like I was misled. I was told what great success they've had with the devise. I was led to believe my reading vision would improve quickly. One of the staff working with me told me she had it done and how great it was. She could read the menu at restaurants without glasses. I came home for the holidays and came to the open house last night. Great presentation but it doesnt give me very much confidence when the girl behind the desk is wearing glasses?
Husband had follow-up appointment in mid-January. At check out clerical person asked HIM if there was a co-pay..she didn't know! His response was that he didn't know either. Today we get a bill for a small balance. That, isn't the problem! The problem is the nasty handwritten note, in red ink, that threatens if not paid, it will be turned over to collection! Given this was the first and only bill received, that note was completely uncalled for and unprofessional!!
