I have never written a review- but Audubon Lake really disappointed me in my final 6 months there. I moved to the property, as recent college undergrad, in 2018. It was great, I had a quaint 1bdrm/1 bath. It was an awesome location, affordable, and had access to the airport. Then, in Sept 2022, Ticon Properties increased the rent by 400-600 dollars (unless I was willing to sign a 18 month lease). I had high hopes for this place. Don’t get me wrong the people at the office are friendly. But ever since i moved in ive had problem after problem. Our home was never finished properly and had to wait up to 3 weeks after moving for our cabinet doors. Then the dryer stopped working or more like never worked at all. Our clothes are drying for 4 hours and i have to go wash and dry my clothes somewhere else. Lived there about a year. Overall a good experience. Workout room needs to be updated. The office personnel were really awesome! Especially Marilyn and Angelica!!
My neighbors downstairs are living like Cheech and Chong in their apartment. All the pot smoke blows into the other apartments and you can smell it while walking outside. Too many obnoxiously loud neighbors. Office will do NOTHING if you complain. So move here if you want to live next to drug dealers who are obnoxiously loud!! They constantly jack up the prices every year also. They caused USPS to not deliver our packages for several months and did nothing about it.
Maintenance is subpar. Requests to have items fixed never are resolved without having to call the office multiple times even after submitting online requests. Dog waste trash cans are constantly overflowing.
