Our last experience two weeks ago could have been detrimental to our family dog. We took him for a routine wellness visit and he was prescribed a medication and they also refilled another ongoing medication. That evening when we went to give our little 10 pound pup his new medicine my husband mentioned the doctor said it was a small tablet but this pill was quite large. I loved this facility with my previous pets until today. I just did a wellness check with my cat as well as his initial shots and was told to come back in 3 weeks to get a booster. I came back to get a booster today for around 50.00 and was told that I need to do another "Wellness Check" on top of the booster? Made no sense as my cat is healthy and just had a wellness check 3 weeks ago. I was never informed that they were going to tack on another charge so I respectfully walked out. Regarding vaccine boosters, if they are administered within 3-4 weeks of the initial appointment they can be tech appointments without having a doctor exam. Since it had been 2 months since we last saw little Tux, a doctor exam was required to administer vaccinations as much can change in a growing animal during that time frame.
