What I am posting is personal opinion based on personal experience at Avalon Oaks please check anywhere else before moving here. Example if you like your living space to be less than, 78-80 degrees you will have an issue most of the central air units here are quite old and do not preform to capacity.There is one small playground here but most of the children in the back on the complex ride their bikes ,scooters etc out in the parking lot,I personally have seen a few near misses and am very afraid a child is going to be Inju... read more

If I could give 0 stars I would! I've lived at Avalon for 5+ years and I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO MOVE HERE!! I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE! There is a lady, previous tenant, that comes and parks in front of the dumpster for hours to feed the cats. She is NOT friendly at all!! The office has said they can't really do anything about her. Uhh ?? The windows in the winter are drafty, people let their cats outside at night and when I was assigned my new unit it smelled so terrible of car urine! My husband and I moved in back in May. We love the space the apartment provides and everyone we've met so far is pretty nice. The neighborhood itself is pretty loud most of the time, dogs barking mostly. The maintenance department however is terrible. This is the second request for work that I have put in that had not been completed, yet when I call they say in the system that it is. If I could seriously give this apartment complex a negative rating I would. This is by far the worst apartment I have ever had in my entire life. At first when me and my girlfriend moved up here from dayton I will admit it was very nice but once it started to get colder that's when everything started to change. Let me start off by saying if I could give this apartment complex ZERO stars I would. This was my first apartment and it was such a horrible experience I will NEVER rent again. Im going to buy a house. I have included pictures to go along with all my experiences. 1. When I moved in there was a ridiculous amount of pigeon feces on the balcony. If I could give 0 stars I would. Literally the worst apartment complex ever. I was threatened to be evicted 3 (yes three) times for PAYING ON TIME. They lost my rent check, I had a receipt to prove I had paid, but received no apology, just an excuse. You will be treated as a number here, do not expect any kind of "customer service" from the completely incompetent leasing staff. They will not do anything to help you. If you choose to live here.... good luck.
