Waited 45 minutes after GETTING TO THE COUNTER due to ancient IT systems that weren't responding. Staff said this was a normal occurrence and that they couldn't do anything about it. Save yourself time and a massive headache by just going to the airport, where you can drive out with your car in under 5 minutes with Preferred service.
The longest most inefficient line in the world. So much for being preferred.

Stunningly awful experience. Rented a car for the day and spent a grand total of two hours waiting between picking up and dropping off the vehicle. Staff acted as though it was business as usual. This business shows a fundamental disrespect for the customer. Avis may never get our business again.
