I guess oral surgery places are not as strict as doctor offices or hospitals. I’ve been a nurse for 24 years and have always been taught wash or alcohol hands before touching a patient. Wearing gloves when starting an IV, wiping the area with alcohol before starting the IV. They did none of that. I truly wanted to call them out, but my son was already so nervous I didn’t want to cause him undue harm. Very sad!

Husband referred to have tooth pulled. Doctor found mass likely cancer on xray and did biopsy instead. He sent the biopsy to an out of network lab without our consent. The cost is over $6,000 and what we pay will be out of our pocket and not applied to our in network out of pocket maximum. Very mad about this doctor’s decision to slap us with a large bill on top of all the other cancer bills we will get. Doctor and staff are not considerate of patients.
