Had a great time here - cocktails were fab & I loved the toad design added to Mr Toads Tennessee Trip. Service was great & could not be faulted. We didn’t have food but had to give a rating & as everything else was so good I gave it a five star as the dishes we saw coming out looked delicious & I can’t imagine it tasted anything else too.
Food was cool when arrived but when it came back, was perfect! Monkfish curry unbelievable! Just two pieces of fish though, small, so not great value at the price. As the food was cool first time round, we were gifted a comp bottle of wine, amazing gesture, thank you! Cocktails fabulous too!
Great service, cocktails and the macaroni cheese was amazing!
Staff were so friendly and loved the fact it was dog friendly too. He was even given his own dog bowl!
What a wonderful venue for lunch - welcomed by staff, made to feel at home with our dogs and able to enjoy lovely food, beautifully prepped and presented in sight of Edinburgh Castle. We will be back!!
I was surprised how lovely the experience was, from the waiting staff to the ambiance. Don't usually go to what I'd consider more expensive places, but it was affordable which was great.

Stylish, modern place off the main tourist packed track. Very friendly staff, great service, food is delicious. Definitely worth visiting.
We had table for six, outdoors. All the staff were very attentive - relaxed and helpful. Top marks. We mostly ate the Badgers Pies or the fish’n’chips - basically well presented pub grub, although there are more exotic options. Felt slightly overpriced for what it was but this is city centre with view of castle so probably competes well with some of the George Street competition nearby.
