Thought we were booking somewhere offering a Sunday roast but not so; not fault of Badger. We found alternatives which were very good. Waitresses a bit clueless but utterly charming and very helpful. Five of us passed an extremely pleasant and relaxing three hours here.
Had a fantastic lunch, food was excellent and the service was very good and welcoming.
One of the rare restaurants left in Edinburgh where you are not being hounded off your table after 2 hours. The a/c unit was really cold but again when we asked if it could turned done - it was immediately 😊. Food - very tasty only thing was chicken crockets were more like tiny chicken bites. Music in background still allowed conversation without shouting- fab.
Not a place for lunch, maybe better for dinner? Very quiet. Not much attention to detail re service but food was good.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was good. We had pre-booked a table for two. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a main course each, which were delicious and very filling. We also shared a dessert and I had one of the cocktails. Everything we had was tasty and prepared to a high standard. We would definitely go again when we are next in Edinburgh
Only went in for drinks which is why only 1 star given for food - it wouldn’t let me leave the Food selection blank. Great service and great ambience
Absolutely brilliant. Atmosphere,drinks and staff all fabulous. Highly recommended.
Honestly I was quite disappointed with my trip to the Badger & Co. It is important to note that the servers were lovely, however, we were positioned in a seat that was awkward and uncomfortable, almost as if it was not part of the restaurant, and the sofa thing we were sat on was extremely manky. Also, the food was a bit basic and I'm sure the scallops were undercooked. The food was good but the service was not. The drinks we ordered arrived after the food although they did refund the drinks due to the wait. Don’t understand why the service was so slow as the restaurant wasn’t busy?
