Sauerkraut almost as good as my husband's homemade! He had the schnitzel, I had a reuben. Halfway through we switched plates so we could have both. The red cabbage and spaetzle were delicious, too. Well worth the trip from Pennsylvania.
Great service and delicious food. A nice way to cool down on a hot day.
The service and our waitress was great,the food was pretty good to taste but not authentic German. Wish they would have had a Veiner schnitzel. Purple cabbage and sour kraut served together is a not.

A really great, fun experience with my family. I'm visiting my brother from Kentucky, and I'm sure there are days when the front-end staff is off their game, but that wasn't the case with us. We were checked in on frequently, and there wasn't anything we didn't enjoy about our food or the staff. A really wonderful first time in Leavenworth, at Baren Haus.
Schnitzel was a little dry,but the red cabbage and potatoes fixed it, could have a better selection of beer.
Good eats except for the potatos. Seemed to be a bit short staffed. Overall not too bad.
