1. The staff is incredibly rude. 2. The location is not the cleanest, there is dirt on the floor and molding in areas coming apart. 3. There is no privacy as your services are performed behind a sheet. 4. I was signed up for a membership without it being explained to me that the membership would cost $70 a month. I have now spent over $300 for 1 procedure. I tried to correct with the staff and I was met with a rude and condescending "manager". Please do not open a membership!!! They will charge your card and you have to either have a change in address or have a doctors excuse for them not to charge anymore. Please stay away!
Went for the first time after friends gushed about sugaring over waxing being so much better. I got my service done by a very knowledgeable technician who was careful and sweet as well, only to not be satisfied because after paying $60 plus tip I still had hair and it was enough to grab. I was told to tweeze the rest and come back in 3 weeks to get the rest. I paid for a complete service only to not get it. I never had that problem with waxing in vestavia and for a much lesser price.

Was originally a member at the mountain brook location since last August. Throughout my tenure with la bikini, I can say I have never had a positive experience when booking an appointment or arriving at the salon. I have been to both the Hoover and the Mountain Brook locations and the customer service across the board has been the most negative encounter I have ever dealt with any business. A few of the ladies providing the services are great. Many are pretty impatient and short tempered. Also my main concern came recently with having to cancel an appt. If I wake up the day of my appointment and my cycle has started how is it ok that I still be charged $35? Clearly it's not a good time for a wax. Especially when I have a medical condition that makes it impossible to know when my cycles will start or stop.
