When the cornerstone for Barley Creek Brewing Company was laid in 1792, it marked the start of what would become one of the most historic buildings in America. The building would eventally grow to include 132 rooms, 35 bathrooms, 28 fireplaces, a tennis court, swimming pool, movie theatre and bowling alley. Oh, wait… that’s the White House. Hey, we’re sure the White House is a nice place and all, but we’re just saying… we’d rather be at Barley Creek. Okay, here’s the official histo... read more

My daughter and I recently ate here while shopping at the outlets. We were greeted warmly and seated. Kayla , our server was amazing! She was very attentive and friendly. Theo was also very friendly as was Tiara. The establishment had fun games to play and very family friendly. You are able to purchase merchandise. We had the pretzel bites beer, and cocktail. Everything was delicious. The ambiance was comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely be back!
Rating for outdoor Pint sized Park and Biergarten area: The Biergarten is really nice with beautiful views, but tends to be filled with kids because of the outdoor games. Therefore, if you're looking for a place with games to entertain your kids while you're enjoying a drink- this is the place. My husband and I are DINKs so it's not our vibe. It's not a hip spot filled with mostly adults- it's definitely where the tourists bring their families. As adults, you likely will not be able to enjoy these games as it's taken over by... read more
i love this place. dog friendly, really cool outside area for when you're awaiting a table, good food, decent drinks, what more can you ask for? whenever we're out here we gotta stop by. keep on keeping on!
We had a large party and one waitress to serve us. She was excellent but from drinks to food, delivery was slow. This was also true in the main dining room. The food was uninspired and although we had ordered smash burgers, they were fairly dry. The interior is rustic tavern but we were outside and there was a downpour during our meal with which they dealt effectively. We were unimpressed with the food, although the beer was reportedly good.
Food was delicious & came out quickly. French onion soup was top notch. Service was excellent; our server Jake (Jacob R.) was friendly, knowledgeable, & attentive. Overall great experience!
Hoped to have gotten here for brunch but we were too late. Ended up having some drinks and lunch. Their punch is delicious. My food was good, my husband said his was just ok. The overall place is nice & it was busy but not crazy loud. We will eventually be back another time to try brunch.
The best nachos. Recommend the Mountain Mule. Good service. The adult Mac and Cheese and Cheesesteak sandwich are terrific.
Needed a break from Great Wolf where we had tried the Rescue IPA there (very good!) and wanted to check out the rest of the Barley Creek beers. Sadly it seemed as though something was off with the carbonation for the draft beers this day. Most tolerable for this issue was the chocolate porter, which our server recommended and I second! Hoped to find it in a can to take home, but alas, no cans. Black lager, as another reviewer noted, is a winner in cans. Picked up more Rescue IPA which was a favorite. Nashville chicken ... read more
Food is excellent every time and so are the drinks, but the service is absolutely embarrassing. It's the same bad service every year we go but hey at least the food is good.
