My son has been taking classes for over the last two years at the Bear Paddle Swim school in Bloomingdale. The instructors are patient and encouraging to all students.

We have been going to Bear Paddle Swim for a couple of months and my son loves it. I have never had to beg him to get dressed and ready to go (which is a huge success, lol) The instructors are fantastic and I love seeing his progress every week!!!

My son took classes elsewhere since he was a baby. He started faking bathroom breaks so he didn't have to take class. At age six we moved to Bear Paddle. He learned more in the first four weeks at Bear Paddle then he learned in years at the other place. He has super sensitive skin and left the other lessons red, dry and blotchy. The water here doesn't seem to bother his skin. He also loves that the water is warmer. The other place was "heated" but he was in shivers the whole time. Great changing rooms too! I used the park district swim lessons for years before bear paddle opened and my daughter made little to no progress. I love bear paddle the encouragement with the patch system is amazing. The style of lessons and terminology used is fantastic for my 5 and 9 year old. Excellent job bear paddle I encourage it because of the program and staff!!

My 2 year old daughter will have her fourth swim lesson today, and we couldn't be happier. She really likes her instructor and is comfortable in the class. We have had a great experience so far!

The instructors here are so professional and seem to be incredibly well-trained. This has been a big change from our experience at Park District swim classes. While it is more expensive, you can absolutely see that you get what you pay for. My son is enjoying his experience much more now that we are at Bear Paddle!
