Well my Mom and Dad are moving to Indy and will be living at Beech Grove Garden Homes. I really liked it there and Becky [removed] was wonderful, very friendly and easy to talk to. I think my parents will really enjoy living there :)

Beech Grove Meadows has been my home for a month, ever since I moved out of a senior community that offered no services, I do not drive and Beech Grove Meadows, with advanced notice, takes me on their bus to medical appointments. There also are shopping trips and expeditions to movies, plays and concerts. As for myself, I am a widower with a four-star heart problem. My doctor suggested assisted living, but BGM's general manager Becky Chambers pulled together an individualized package that gave me my meals in the dining room... read more

Very nice but concerned about socialization, and getting to the dining room in bad weather. We did not get to eat there, so don't know about the food.

Beech Grove Meadows and Garden Homes is slow to respond to maintenance issues. It took 3 months to fix a shower valve, missing backsplash and two weeks to get a trash collection can. Mom wants to look for another place to live. Turnover of helpers has been an on-going issue here. The maintenance crew it not good at following up or resolving problems. They lack basic skills. They over-promised and under-delivered which is common.
