I have been at Belmont at York for a long time and the changes in management and staff have been for the better. During the last several months, the new and present manager is thriving for excellence; and it shows. Staff and crew are on an upward climb, more happy and focused. Maintenance members are swift and on a smooth/constant rhythm complying with work-orders done, and house keeping and others are keeping the grounds very nice. Worst management, apartments are ok to live but not the best

I was excited about my Moved but was taken aback by the cosmetic issues. The oven is outdated. I have my own refrigerator. The panel on the counter is coming off and the office know but did not get it taken care of. I was not made aware I had to pay for post office keys until I went to post office. My neighbors are very friendly which has made my move easier.

Be careful when submitting payments online. I usually write checks but was out of town. Submitted payment online, so I thought, and it did not go through. The card on the account was expired which was my fault, however I never got an email stating the payment didn't go through and was charged a hefty late fee. I have lived here over 2 years and have never been late on a payment. Trying to get this resolved is like pulling teeth using dirty old pliers. OUCH. I want to live in a place where you are more than dollar signs.

Microwave died on Sunday, 02/06. Maintenance came on Monday and told us it would need to be replaced. Should happen on Wednesday, 02/09. Called office at 4:45 on 02/09 and they had no order for a new microwave. It showed on maintenance log that work had been completed. They needed to order a new microwave and we would get it maybe Thursday but if it wasn't delivered to them before Friday that it would maybe be Monday. Staff is super unfriendly(aside from maintenance workers) and not helpful when you have questions. The property manager, Teri, is the worst of them all. The apartments are decent , but the leasing office makes everything so uncomfortable and the way they talk to you is unprofessional. Renting here is not worth it, I do not recommend leasing/renting with Belmont at York.

I moved into a roach infested apartment. I notified the front office through email but no response.

Despite the peacefulness of the development I cannot recommend renting here. Within the space of 4 months, the patio door lock stop working multiple times, the washing machine will not fill, the dishwasher doesn't clean dishes, the toilets have to be flushed twice, all manner of roaches, water bugs, spiders etc. roam freely in apartments and common areas and my second bedroom window spontaneously feel out of the frame at 11 pm. Worst place ever! Staff is rude and condescending. There is duck feces all over the property from all the ducks that reside on it. Their feces attract gnats that swarm all over flying in your face and hair. Cobwebs everywhere, even on my car everyday different spot. No assigned parking so finding parking in front of your apartment is impossible . Walls thin , you hear everything . Do not rent a 1st floor apartment ever here. Mold growing everywhere. Outdated !!
