This has to be the worst service department I have ever visited. The service advisor was very aggressive and dismissive. I guess I should not have shared with him that I was going to recommend that my daughter stop bringing her Highlander to the dealership for service, because at that point his physical posture, sarcastic response and facial expressions made it very evident the situation could escalate out of control. We will never use this dealership again.
We recently bought a new Venza from this dealership when our 13 year old Prius broke down in Maine. We are back in New Jersey now and have yet to receive our new license plates and extra key fob. Our calls to Brett, the salesman we worked with, go unanswered. It’s very frustrating!
Berlin city booked a 1 pm appointment for and oil change and tire rotation. I was told 1:15 mins. After texting my service advisors with no answer. I had to ask for my car after 2:15 min to find it was finished but no one called. I was told they were short staffed but why book my car and make me wait. At most it should be an hour for this service. I was going to sign up for the 3 oil change service but my time is too valuable to be held hostage for poor planning. This is a standard excuse now a days.
Toyota in Portland: The "EASY" thing to do here is go to the BBB site and look at those reviews. It's "EASY" for them to stack the fake five star reviews on any review site. We walked out after encountering a rude sales rep who claimed we were "wasting my (his) time" by wanting to take a test drive to determine if we wanted to purchase a Rav4 or Highlander. I like the people. They are nice but the service to my car was horrible. I made an appointment for my sticker and oil change, came back and made another appointment wondering why is my car shaking and making noise. On top of that I stalled in the middle of the road! After a few hours they called me and said that my oil is almost empty and dry. Then I asked them how would that happen if I just made an appointment not too long ago for sticker and oil changed. It’s the 3rd Camry I’ve purchased, the dealership is great the salesman Brent set my phone to the car and that was it, I didn’t know how to set up car features and how they worked. I was very disappointed. I went to Lee Honda in Auburn and they set up all my features thanks to my relations with the sales team, I was embarrassed. If I return for another car the only person I will deal with is Brady Blackman.
I Drove almost 2hrs to buy a truck that I had my eyes set on I didn’t need a sales pitch because if everything panned out I was going to buy the truck. I told mark the sales man I had my own financing through a bank they use but he decided to do the loan application himself so the dealership can get a kickback which caused a big mess for me down the road. Definition of sleezeball, no respect, very rude, felt taken advantage of got zero apologies or explanation of why the 800 dollars of work put into the car didn’t work 3 months later. They just take your money and don’t care about providing good service
