"Lease of new RAV 4" I have no complaints whatsoever about my experience. The dealership really went out of their way to be sure we had the best experience possible. We've been dealing with Berlin City Toyota in Portland, ME for 11 years, and the experience just keeps getting better.
"Quick service" Quick service, in for oil change. Came in before mileage due date. 2013 Avalon with 23,500 miles and they say my tires need to be replaced! I don't understand this, at all. All my service has been done at Berlin except when I purchased car from Prime. I followed my salesman here but now he move over to Lexus. Anyway my tires should have been rotated to keep wear even. I'm disappointed that the test results I was handed showed one tire needing immediate attention, one perfect, the other 2 ok. 24,000 miles? Poo... read more
"Tire repair" Quick tire patch after a screw puncture, even got my inspection sticker in under an hour . I had a tire going flat and the service department got me right in with no appointment! Thanks
"State inspection" Inspection was done as well as a car wash in under an hour! Unfortunately they did not have the manpower so I could schedule a detailing. I am hoping they will get a detailed soon.
"Ignored" I was early for my appt. No one greeted me at my car. I went into the service dept. and 2 employees were working on a computer. I stood for 5 minutes without them acknowledging me. I am a receptionist and I assure you that if someone walks in I acknowledge them immediately. Once they found the service person I was assigned to everything went smoothly. I just was so surprised that they didn't acknowledge me. Certainly not a professional image. My service rep. was excellent.
"Disappointing Customer Service" Went in to have a state inspection, which was completed in 40 minutes. Saw that my car was ready for me and I waited for the service staff to call me from the waiting room. Waited for almost an hour before I spoke to Amy, trying to figure out what was taking so long. She said that she hadn't started the "documentation" and that I had to wait. So I waited for yet another hour, and still nothing. "Maintenance" My Toyota Care Specialist, Amy Dunn, was great - very personable and efficient. I have not had much luck with Berlin City Maintenance in the past. It's always been a hassle to get estimates on service. I get transferred every time I call and then no one answers. I leave a message and no one calls. On one occasion I needed new tires. No one called me back so I bought them at VIP. On another occasion I needed brakes. No one called be back so I had the work done at Maine Brake Service. I stopped having service don... read more
"blown off at Berlin city" Felt like I was blow off and sales person didn't even try to help me trade my lease early. I had 6 months left. The car I wanted wasn't in stock so she said wait a few more months and then I can work with you. My credit is well over 750. She never ran any numbers or showed me how she was arriving at not being able to help me. Feeling frustrated I went to LEE Toyota. "How do they stay in business?" I made an appt for their free state inspection. That part is good. Got there at 3:35 and service couldn't find the job order and had to write up another one. They finally gave me my receipt saying the car was done at 5:07 and we could wait outside for them to bring it around. Cars kept coming and the drivers would say your car is probably next.
