Recommendedjust had storms first appointment! they even gave her toys for her visit 😻 she’s not even mad at us for her shots because she’s too busy playing!
My husband & myself have stopped services with this place after 5 yrs and we have set up another appt with another vet for our cat. When I told the receptionist at the place we are going to that they put a muzzle on him just to trim his nails, she was in shock!.This was after I told her how my cat can get as far as scared. The fact that instead of taking him out of his carrier the right way, they just dump him out of the carrier on to the table they have. because he will not get out of the carrier on his own. My husband and I have been taking our cat here for the past 5 years and I never had an issue with them til now. The County is in green so there is no reason why myself or my husband can not be in the exam room with my cat which is what he is used to. I offered to wear a mask just so I could be in the exam room with my cat so he isnt scared. I got no reply to that from the receptionist. Evidently staff gets stressed out over dogs with anxiety & don’t know how to handle it. For the vet to tell an owner your dog stressed my staff out & not be concerned about the well being of my dog is unacceptable. It’s their job. Sorry it stresses you out. Worst place to take any animal asked to have them check on my dog after a month of them charging me for 4 Vists and scripts. None of it help so went there as a walk in telling them my dog is dying and instead of just checking up on him they wanted more money for a walk in urgent vist. This place is a joke letting my 3 month puppy suffer after we've paid over 800 dollars for care so far and its made it worse
They're unaccommodating, expensive, and run unnecessary test. What Animal Hospital tells someone to go to Hagerstown to get their animal seen? Oh yeah, BFAH does. They're not your "Best Friends"! They only want your money! I don't have deep pockets but I do care deeply for my fur babies so I had no choice but to take their advice and go to a REAL Animal Hospital in Hagerstown that cared for my sweet Gus. I made the mistake of taking my dog here on October 16th, 2017. I brought my dog in for an anal gland expression. I don't know my technicians name but she was heavy set with blond hair. She was VERY unprofessional and VERY rude. When I called the practice I stated that I just needed my dogs anal glands expressed, (he has to get this done every 3 months otherwise he stops defecating.) and I was schedule for an appointment instead, and when I told the tech that I did not want the appointment, just his glands expressed she rol... read more
I loved it there rite up to the point that I found out from new vet that my dogs r inside dogs and have been getting shots and things done to them they didn't need then my small Chihuahua was put down with out test ran on her and no meds to try first I feel like I was taken advantage of and lost my BEST FRIEND in the world for no reason yes everything is our final decision but when ur vet tells u things all u no to go on is there word I feel like the worst dog mommy in the world for my baby to b put down .
