It was our first trip to Edgartown. Bettini was a wonderful choice. The food was outstanding. They had two vegetarian options, made vegan, for my husband. I had lobster grits and we both had a lovely salad. Service was great and while I always finish my meal well after my husband, most restaurants clear his plate which is so annoying and always makes me feel rushed. Bettini did not do that. Excellent upscale dining on the Vineyard. The view is fabulous and matches the service and quality of the food. As a local, this is a favorite.

Pasta with lobster was not well executed. No seasoning and it tasted like eating a spoonful of butter. The pasta itself really needed some seasoning.

We've eaten at Bettini's three times and they surprised us each time with the quality of service, food, and great cocktails. The wait staffers are incredibly helpful and friendly. We met one of the new staff people, Gabriel Biggs, who was from our home state of Louisiana. We soon found out that he and the master chef were both newbies to the island.

From the moment I made my first mistake booking via OpenTable , I knew I was in good hands. The rest of my dealings with Bettini was handled directly by the restaurant. Everyone helped us make our anniversary memorable. When I realized Iselected the wrong date, I called and the change was made graciously and with a smile. When we arrived 15 minute early for our reservation, I was made to feel at home in the comfortable front room.
