From my view as a listing agent, this was a very challenging lending situation due the appraisal portion of the process. We went under contract on April 5, yet the appraisawl was not returned until after the end of DDP on April 25 and only a few days prior to closing. This is unusually painful since the property is located in-town and appraisals in-town are routinely returned within 7-10 days.
