Absolutely WRECKED my 401k balance to IRA from fees. They are not up front about their fee structure at all, I transferred in almost $11k in 2021 and today it sat at $1900. And no, it was not due to the "drop" in crypto. BTC was not even at the current levels today when I invested and made the switch. They are scammers, and they'll nickel and dime your portfolio until there is nothing left. RUN.
Alarmingly high fee structure, and strong sales maneuvers (such as aggressive CRM call cycles, using FUD to cast shade on competitors) I'm not saying it's not a legit company providing a service, but definitely recommend potential customers keep their wits about them. Just know what you're signing up for and read their T&C.
If it would not cost me so much to transfer to another holder I would have left BitcoinIRA by now. They took almost 10% of an initial transfer fee although it was suppose to be 6%. Come to find out, because I deposited a lesser amount on my initial deposit they charged me almost 4% more. Nowhere on their website did it state that. A month after I became a client, they stopped the 6% interest on my cash deposits, so now I receive nothing.
