RecommendedService was ok. Definitely get your money's worth on the food. Chicken Fried Steak was tender, mash potatoes were good, salad was fresh and corn bread muffin was soft, but for my personal taste, could have been a little sweeter. Will definitely be going back.
My parents and I stopped by The Black Bear Diner in Beaumont this morning. There was a 40 minute wait, but the place was jam packed so that's expected. We decided to go there considering all the positive reviews on Facebook. I ordered the breakfast portion of the Bigfoot Chicken Fried Steak, my dad ordered the the Scramble Bowl and my mom ordered the Joe Hobo Omelet Special. I love Black Bear Diner! The food is fantastic, and there are a lot of different portion and nutritional options. Our server today, Chi, was awesome as well. She was genuinely pleasant, and took great care of us. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
