food is okay but service is grest
fruit was spoiled. biscuit was more like a dinner roll. too expensive for portion size.

Two people in our party had cold gravy and biscuits. By the time they got it back I was done and had to wait on them. But it was hot when they got it again.
Ray Thompson at the Beaumont Texas location just spoke to my girlfriend like she's was less than a person. We placed a to go order. While on the phone she changed what she wanted, after picking it up she realized we were charged for both items. she called back and was spoken to like trash and told we could come another time for a comped meal instead of addressing the poor customer service or admitting to the simple error. I will never , ever eat here again.

I have ate black bear diner many times and it is always amazing. but this is my first time at this location and I have to say that tonight my dinner was terrible the service was not good at all and I ordered a steak medium rare and it came out well done they took it back and brought it back 20 mind later and it was even more done then the first time. i will not eat at this location again
RecommendedI normally really like Black Bear Diner but my husband got a bear claw yesterday and it was the most awful thing I've eaten there! not only was dough dry and almost flavorless, it tasted like they poured and entire bottles over almond extract over the dessert! The smell alone made us sick! Just awful
Went for dinner tonight, staff was friendly and I was sat at a table immediately. Server took my order and then went to the attached gas station and never came back, after 30 + minutes of receiving no salad, no food and watching people who arrived after me receive their food I was able to flag down a server from another section to pay for my beverage so that I could leave and go somewhere else to actually be able to eat dinner.
